To our valued patients, friends and community members,

We hope this message finds you safe and well. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, PineCone Vision Center supports the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) patient care guidance issued on March 17 to postpone routine eye care.

Therefore, PineCone Vision Center has decided to reschedule all routine eye examinations through April 5th. If you have a routine eye appointment during this time our staff will be reaching out to you shortly to reschedule.

However, our commitment to the community and our patients remains intact, and we will continue to be available for urgent and emergent eye care needs. Urgent eye care is defined as medical care provided for illnesses or injuries that require prompt attention but are typically not serious enough to require emergency room services. Emergent care is defined as medical care for conditions requiring prompt medical attention due to a sudden change in the eye or visual health.

Please know our doctors are also available to answer questions and have initiated care via Telemedicine through FaceTime or Skype. Simply contact our office for further instruction or schedule an appointment online.

To Pick up Eyewear please call our office and schedule a time for curbside pick-up. These appointments will be scheduled to allow for appropriate social distancing and safety of both our staff and patients.

Contact Lenses may be ordered online or via phone and delivered to your home or for curbside pick-up. Please call our office to arrange this. If you are due for an exam and are out of contact lenses, please call our office. We will happily make arrangements to get lenses to you during this time.

Eyeglass adjustments will be scheduled according to the CDC guidelines.

We will continue to monitor updates from the CDC and other federal health agencies on patient care and the nationwide public health response. Please stay tuned for updates and changes to our scheduling.

We wish you the best and look forward to serving your eye care needs in the future.

Sincerely,

The Doctors and Staff of PineCone Vision Center.
