You may meet Melissa at your next eye exam! Melissa Lopez is currently a student at Illinois College of Optometry after completing her undergraduate studies at the College of St. Benedict.
Melissa is very fascinated by the eyes. “Optometrists can see some systemic diseases in the eyes before they have affect on other parts of the body. The eye is the only place you can see a nerve or a blood vessel,” Melissa states.
Melissa’s hobbies include volleyball, reading and catching up on her favorite TV shows.
