Our low vision rehabilitation clinic works closely with patients who have irreparable vision loss secondary to disease or injury.
The doctor will focus on maximizing your remaining vision to help you reach your visual goals and remain independent. Whether your goals be education, career, mobility, independence or leisure activities, we have options to enhance your vision and success.
Low Vision Rehabilitation Exam:
A low vision examination is different from typical eye exams. The focus of this exam will be on your visual goals. The doctor will carefully measure your vision and then demonstrate lenses, magnification devices, lighting and strategies to reach your goals.
Preparation for our Low Vision Exam:
Our doctors ask that you request a copy of your ocular/medical records be sent to our office prior to the exam. In addition, we ask that you arrive with a list of your visual goals or areas of concern.
